OUTRAGEOUS: Malawi Couple sentenced to 14 Years in Jail!

I can't even begin to describe my feelings about this...

In Malawi, a gay couple has just been sentenced to 14 years in jail with hard labor. Why? Because they held a secret wedding in December. They have been in jail since December 28 awaiting their sentencing. Well, the Malawian government decided that love between two people of the same gender is so wrong that they gave this couple the maximum sentence. I can't understand what would possess a government, let alone an individual, to judge and penalize me based on my love with another person. I am outraged and really just stunned. There is so much hate in this world.
